Our inn is one of the few inns in Arima that has a hot spring source on its premises. The large public bath has three baths: an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna. In the open-air bath, you can enjoy both the spectacular view unique to Gekkoen and the red hot spring water from our own hot spring source.

The waters of Arima Onsen are famous for their therapeutic properties and are known as "fertility springs." Gekkoen's gold springs are sourced from its own private spring, making it one of the few inns in Arima with a spring source on its premises. The Korokan large bath, overlooking Mount Rakuyo, is a spacious facility with an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna. In particular, the open-air bath allows you to enjoy both the spectacular view unique to Gekkoen and the gold springs from its own private source. Please enjoy a moment of relaxation that only Gekkoen can offer.

Three private baths

Enjoy some time with your family, nurture your bond as a couple, or just enjoy some private time together. The private baths at Gekkoen have a variety of different expressions depending on the customer who uses them. Please come and enjoy them with your special someone.
*The private baths are not hot springs.

About use: Private baths are available from 10:30pm, with the last one at 10:30pm. When making a reservation, please let us know the type of bath you would like and the time you would like to use it.
Usage: 4,400 yen for 40 minutes

Barrier-free private bath

This is the most popular private bath, made entirely from cypress. It is popular for its woody scent and warmth.
The cypress bath is barrier-free, with no steps at the entrance, and wheelchairs can enter right up to the bathtub.

Cave bath

Capacity: 5 people

A private bath with a unique cave atmosphere

This cave bath is surrounded by rugged rocks. There are no windows, so the wind blowing through adds to the cave-like atmosphere. It is especially popular with couples and families with children.

Wine bath

Capacity: 8 people

A spacious private bath made of sandstone

This bath is made of sandstone stones that have a distinctive wine scent. It is popular among women due to its spacious design and scent. As it uses bath salts instead of wine itself, even children can use it.
